We are thrilled to have you participating in the upcoming 5v5 Soccer Tournament this weekend! One quick correction to my previous email. There will not be numbers on the 5v5 fields as previously stated so please refer to the field map for exact field locations. I have attached the map again for reference. Mari, your on-site tournament director, will be able to help direct you as needed.

As we gear up for an exciting event, we invite you to share your experiences and moments with us on social media.

This weekend's tournament is also a qualifier for the National Championships, which will be held in November 2025, in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Competing at the highest level is so important for our athletes as it provides an excellent opportunity to showcase their skills, dedication, and teamwork on a national stage. Your participation and performance this weekend could pave the way to representing your team and community at the National Championships, where the best teams from across the country will come together for an unforgettable competition.

Hello again! Just sending a quick follow up to the schedule to help avoid any possible confusion. Harmony Sports Complex does have several soccer areas. All 5v5 games will be played on turf fields 8 & 9. Those fields will be broken down into 5v5 fields 1-6, as noted on the schedule. The 5v5 fields will be numbered so you can identify where you need to be. I am also attaching a field map for your reference. If anyone has questions, comments, or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. Hope this helps!

Dear Coaches and Teams,

The tournament schedules are now posted for the 5v5 Vancouver, WA Soccer tournament this weekend. You can view them at this link: https://soccer.exposureevents.com/218184/5v5-vancouver-wa/schedule

Please review the schedule to ensure you are in the correct division and that there are no conflicts with your bracket(s). Schedules are subject to change, so be sure to check back on Friday evening.

Please check in your team at the tournament headquarters tent 30 minutes prior to your first game. Remember to bring any roster changes, as this will be your last opportunity to make changes. Also, make sure to have a photo or copy of proof of age. Only one representative from each team needs to attend the check-in.

You are welcome to email me all the forms ahead of time for a non-contact check-in. Make sure to send 1 email per team, subject put the team name exactly like they are registered with the division they are playing. Make sure to sign the bottom of the roster form. Although proof of age won’t be examined at check-in, please keep the cards/certificates with you in case of a challenge.

PLEASE NOTE: There is rain in the forecast for Saturday. Tents will be allowed on the turf, with sand bags (no stakes).

We want to remind everyone of our zero tolerance policy for referee abuse at 5v5 Soccer. As we aim to create a positive and fun tournament, it is crucial that we maintain a supportive sideline environment. While competition is part of the game, let's remember to be respectful and encouraging.

Referees play a vital role in ensuring fair play, and we must treat them with respect. Please remember to:

‣Encourage positive behavior
‣Cheer and support without aggression
‣Communicate with respect
‣Focus on player development

By following these guidelines, we can create a safe and inclusive atmosphere for everyone involved. This should extend to how we treat all team supporters, coaches, staff members, players on both teams and our officials.

We currently have a few “Open Slots” (2 or 3 team brackets). If you know anyone interested in filling these slots, please have them contact me as soon as possible. We will fill slots on a first-come, first-served basis.

Teams will be grouped into divisions based on birth year and skill level. Brackets will be combined by teams +/- 1 year and/or skill level to make the most competitive brackets possible.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

Game Format

►All teams play a minimum of 4 games.
►Divisions with 3, 5, or 6 teams play round-robin; 1st place is determined by points.
►4-team divisions have 3 pool games and a final playoff.

NATIONALS QUALIFICATION

►Teams placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in each division will qualify for Nationals in Florida in November 2025.
