2025 Winter 2 Youth Soccer League
Messages
Hello Winter 2 Youth Soccer Coaches,
The playoff schedule for the Winter 2 Youth Soccer League has been released. You can access the playoff schedule and brackets through the Riverfront Sports app on your mobile device.
As a reminder only the top 4 teams from each division qualify for playoffs, so if your team is not listed on the schedule your season is complete.
If your team still has an oustanding balance for this session, please make arrangements to have it paid as the league will finish up this Saturday.
Thank you for participaing in the Winter 2 Session, we hope you had a great season.
Best Regards,

Hello Winter 2 Youth Soccer Coaches,
The schedule for the season has been released. You can access the schedule by downloading the Riverfront Sports app or by using the link provided below:
2025 Winter 2 Youth Soccer Schedule
Just like last session there will be a 4 team playoff for all of the divisions at the end of the season. The brackets with anticipated game days and times will be released by the second week of the season.
Sorry for the delay in the release of the schedule. I did my best to accommodate everyone's requests and tried to get it right the first time so hopefully only minimal changes need to be made.
Please review your schedule to ensure you have 8 games scheduled and communicate your game days and times with your team. If you have any questions or conerns please email me at csunseri@riverfrontsports.com. Thank you for participating in our league and we look forward to kicking off the season on Thursday!

Hello Winter 2 Youth Soccer Coaches,
I have been notified that the USA Soccer Age Matrix does not switch over until August of each year, so my previous email was incorrect. We would be using the 2024-2025 bracket, so age groupings would be as follows:
U10 = Born in 2015 or later
U12 = Born in 2013 or later
U14 = Born in 2011 or later
I apologize for any confusion.
Best Regards,

Hello Winter 2 Youth Soccer Coaches,
As we prepare to kick off our Winter 2 season next week I wanted to send an email with a couple reminders.
First, please take a moment to review our age guidelines for the divisions. We use the USA Soccer Age Matrix. I have attached this matrix to this email and it can also be found on the Riverfront app under the documents section under the 2025 Winter 2 Youth Soccer League. When using that matrix we are in the 2025-2026 bracket which reads as follows:
U10 = Born in 2016 or later
U12 = Born in 2014 or later
U14 = Born in 2012 or later
Having your team and players play in the correct division helps us keep the competitive balance in our league and also helps to prevent injuries. I do not want to kick teams or individual players out of the league for not following the age requirements but I will have to if their is blatant disregard for the rules.
Second, the goal of our soccer league and the point of having multiple divisions, is to give all teams the opportunity to play competitive games and improve as a team.
The goal of these offseason leagues is help your teams and players improve their skills, not to win a championship. Winnings games 15-0 does not help the winning or losing team. Please use your best discretion when placing your team in divisions, typically they should be as follows but of course there are exceptions:
Recreational = community teams and co-ed teams
Competitive = travel soccer clubs, all-star teams, teams containing multiple travel players
If you signed your team up for the incorrect age division or would like to switch your division to fit your teams skill set please send me an email and I can make the adjustment. We appreciate everyones participation in our league and we look forward to kicking off the Winter 2 season.
I'm hoping release the first draft of the schedule by this Thursday, so please keep an eye out for that email!
