Indoor Soccer Season 2025 (Session II) Schedule

All businesses across from The Root—Bubbles, Great American Cookies, Fuel Counter, and Early Bird—are open today, and you are permitted to bring their products inside The Root.

To Our Coaches, Spectators, and Families of our Youth Sports Leagues:

We are so grateful to host our weekend youth sports leagues and provide a space for kids to grow, compete, and have fun. It’s amazing to see their energy, passion, and love for the game every weekend.

Unfortunately, we’ve noticed a concerning trend that needs to be addressed: aggressive behavior towards referees, coaches, Root staff, and even players. We understand that sports bring out strong emotions, but it’s important to remember that our leagues are about creating a positive and supportive environment for the kids.

Here are a few things we ask everyone to keep in mind:

1️⃣ It’s About the Kids: The goal is for the kids to have fun, build skills, and learn teamwork. Let’s be their biggest cheerleaders and show them what good sportsmanship looks like.
2️⃣ Respect the Refs: Our referees are human and doing their best to manage the game fairly. Mistakes will happen, just as they do for players, coaches, and spectators. Let’s treat them with kindness and understanding.
3️⃣ Lead by Example: Kids mirror the behavior they see. By staying positive and respectful, we’re teaching them how to handle challenges and conflicts with grace.

At The Root, we are committed to fostering a community where everyone feels respected and supported. Let’s work together to create a weekend atmosphere that uplifts our young athletes and reminds us all why we love youth sports.

A tentative scheule has been released on The Root Sports app and at www.rootgallia.com. Another message will be sent out when the schedule has been finalized. Please keep in mind that we receive a tremedous amount of scheduling requests and we do our best to accomodate each of those. However, sometimes it is impossible to do so. Coaches,
Due to the winter storm that forced us to cancel all Indoor Soccer Session 1 games held at The Root on Sunday, January 5th, we will be extending games for Session I by one week to make up for the cancellations.

Revised Dates for Session II:
Session II games will now begin the weekend of January 25th and end the weekend of March 15th (one week later than originally planned).
