Due to increased temperatures, all games starting at 1:20 PM or later will run shortened halves by 10 minutes per half per tournament guidelines.
This includes all age groups. This will be in effective until further notice all day Saturday.
We will message any changes separately if we drop in temperature later today.
Game times will stay the same as the current schedule.
Starting with 12:30 PM starts, all games on turf will be shorteneed by 10 minutes per half with 2 minute running water breaks due to real feel temperatures and warmer turf.
This is for artificial turf games only at this time.
Hello,
Just an update on future game times for today.
Due to heat-shortened games, we believe following game times will start close to regular start times.
Cliff Fen - 11:45 AM start nearly on time
North River Hills 12:00 PM start nearly on time
Rose Park 12:00 PM will start about 15 minutes late.
All 12:30 PM games will be slightly delayed about 10-15 minutes
We expect to be fully on schedule after that for all remaining Saturday games.
Hello,
Lightning appears to have left the area.
We are okay to resume games beginning at 11:15 AM or shortly after.
Games will continue with 5 minute shortened halves due to heat restriction.
Thank you for your understanding.
We are under a weather delay for at least 30 minutes at all locations.
Any game in the 2nd half will be a final as it is stopped.
Hello,
We are over 90 on heat index, so we will shorten games by 5 minutes per half and include a 2 minute running time waterbreak per half for all games starting after 10:15 AM.
Hello,
We are hoping to start first round games at 8:30 AM if there are no additional delays.
For the second round games with start times of 9:15, 9:20 or 9:30, we will also run shortened halves and expect those games to start 5-10 minutes late.
Please note, both East View HS and Apple Valley HS have construction at their locations.
For East View, main lot entrance is closed. There may be some parking in the next entrance. If unsure, park at Johnny Cake Ridge Park West (near field #5 and walk to the turf fields).
Apple Valley HS is also under contruction. Park in the main high school parking lot and follow the path and blue signs to the "ATHLETIC FIELDS" past the Tennis Courts to get to the field.
The home team is designated on the schedule. (First team listed).
Home teams will generally wear their home team kits per TCSL guidelines.
https://www.tcslsoccer.com/resources/home-team-kits/
Visiting or Away Teams should wear alternate kits to avoid a conflct.
If both teams have too similar of color kits as rules by the referee, the home team is then responsible for changing to an alternate color per the BVU Cup rules.
Hello Coaches and Managers,
We are just days away from the 2025 BVU Cup!
Some final reminders as we head into the weekend.
Verify your schedules.
Even though you've already checked, double-check again and share the link of your schedule to your team from Exposure Soccer.
https://soccer.exposureevents.com/236005/bvu-cup-2025/schedule
Please view the schedule for your full group (bracket) so you can see the advancement / playoff games your team may qualify for on Sunday at the bottom of the page.
Wolk Park --> Alimagnet --> Chateaulin Park
For a small number of games, we've had to twice, relocate the games and we believe we are set. Games that were originally scheduled for Wolk Park, have been moved and are now listed correctly to take place at Chateaulin Park.
Current Exposure Soccer schedule reflects these changes.
Online check-in is due this evening.
If you have not already, please submit your roster for approval via the online form:
https://ezchck.com/bvu-cup-roster-submittal/
If you have a watermarked copy of your roster, you are all set for the weekend.
If you have updates, please re-submit through the form.
No rosters get approved via email.
Communications
Communications throughout the weekend will be posted via the exposure email list, and important messages will be posted on the schedule page above the schedule. This will allow all players and families to see any updates (weather related) as they occur. Please share the link to the schedule with your teams to help enable your full team to stay current on any changes during the weekend.

We look forward to hosting you in a few days!

We've had a few inquiries on tiebreakers which can be found on page 4 of our rules document.
They are also listed here:
TIEBREAKERS
If at the conclusion of bracket play, two or more teams have the same point total, advancement to
the semifinals will be determined using the following tiebreakers in the order listed until a team is
eliminated. If more than 2 teams are tied proceed to step 2.
1. Winner of head to head competition: Does not apply if more than two teams tie
2. Winner of most games
3. Goal differential; goals scored versus goals against, maximum 3 goal differential per game
4. Fewest goals allowed
5. Goals Scored
6. Most Shutouts
7. Least Red Cards
8. Earliest registration date. (If a team does not submit their roster by roster deadline, their registration date defaults to when their latest final roster was received / approved.
3:15 PM Update
We are activley monitoring temperatures across our various locations.
We are referencing Accuweather as our primary source and Weatherbug as a secondary to verify our temperatures across our tournament.
At this point we are still under the threshhold with most real feels at 100-103 degrees and able to continue play across our different locations.
We are actively monitoring from teams and referees actively playing as well. If you are at a game and see different information at your game location from those sources provided, please email us.
We will keep you posted as we continue to monitor.
Thank you.
