5v5 Dayton– What You Need to Know for Game Day!

Hello 5v5 Fam!

Tomorrow is the BIG day, and we’re so excited to welcome you to the field in Dayton, Ohio!

**Please note the schedule start time has shifted by 1 hour, GAMES WILL NOW START AT 10AM**

Gates open at 8am, please do not check in any earlier than 30 minutes before your first game.

VENUE INFORMATION:

TEAM CHECK-IN AND OTHER IMPORTANT VENUE INFORMATION

Please check-in no earlier than 30 minutes before your first game.

Only one team representative should check in — sending the whole team may cause delays.

Make sure to PRINT AND BRING your team roster with you; a physical roster is required in order to play. This is your Official Roster.

**No outside food or coolers please, there will be onsite concessions available accepting cash and card**

Bathrooms will be available on site

If you pre-purchased a shirt, you may pick it up after the first round of games. This helps ensure that the team check-in process runs smoothly. We appreciate your patience!

No tents or chairs permitted in the turf area; there is grass in the surrounding area where you can set up canopies and chairs and for team warm ups

Lastly, if you haven't done so already please submit your registration payment ASAP, payments cannot be accepted on site.

Dear Coaches and Teams,

Thank you for your patience as we worked to get the schedule finalized!

The tournament schedules are now posted for the 5v5 Dayton, Ohio Soccer tournament this weekend.

Please review the schedule to ensure you are in the correct division and that there are no conflicts with your bracket(s). Schedules are subject to change, so be sure to check back on Friday evening.

Please check in your team at the tournament headquarters tent 30 minutes prior to your first game. Remember to bring any roster changes, as this will be your last opportunity to make changes. Also, make sure to have a photo or copy of proof of age. Only one representative from each team needs to attend the check-in.

You are welcome to email me all the forms for a non-contact check-in. Make sure to send 1 email per team, subject put the team name exactly like they are registered with the division they are playing. Make sure to sign the bottom of the roster form. Although proof of age won’t be examined at check-in, please keep the cards/certificates with you in case of a challenge.

We currently have a few “Open Slots” (2 or 3 team brackets). If you know anyone interested in filling these slots, please have them contact me as soon as possible. We will fill slots on a first-come, first-served basis.

TOURNAMENT REQUIREMENTS:

PLAYER WAIVER

►To speed up your check-in process, ALL PLAYERS must complete the online waiver by Thursday at midnight. Player Waiver: https://5v5soccer.com/waiver/

TEAM ROSTER

►Coach / Manager responsibility: *** Print and bring to check-in*** Complete and have a printed Tournament roster ready to turn in at check in. This is your Official Roster.

FAQ

Q: Can I add or change a player(s) on my roster?
A: Yes, the roster is not final until the start of your first game. Please bring any roster changes to the team check-in, unless the change affects the division you are in, in which case you must notify me by e-mail. All players must fill out the online waiver form, and be on the paper roster you turn in at check-in.


Q: What is the uniform policy?
A: Players must be in like colors and shin guards are required.


Q: What do I need to bring to the check-in?
A: 1) 5v5 Roster (link above). 2) Verify that all players have filled out the online player waiver (link above)


Q: What if I want to register a co-ed team?
A: We are happy to have co-ed teams. We will create co-ed divisions when we have a sufficient number in any age group. If we do not have enough, they will play in a male division.
