Hello Winter 1 Youth Soccer Coaches,

I just wanted to send a quick reminder regarding ages of eligible players for each division. Our league follows the USA Soccer Matrix that I have attached to this email. Please reference this chart and column for the year 2025-2026. Per this matrix the ages should be as follows for each division:

U10 = Players born in 2016 or earlier
U12 = Players born in 2014 or earlier
U14 = Players born in 2012 or earlier

Players are welcome to play up in a division, but any player that does not fit the above requirements (is too old for a division) is not allowed to play. We ask that you please abide by these rules in order to uphold the integrity of our league and also to help us keep the games as competitive as possible.

Please read this email in it's entirety as it contains important information about the Winter 1 Session.

Schedule
The first draft of the schedule has been released. Expect to see some changes between now and Monday as I'm sure there will be some movement. As always our goal is to make changes early so that everyone can have a concrete schedule for their team and parents. You can access the schedule by downloading the Riverfront Sports app on your mobile device or by clicking on the link below:

2025-2026 Winter 1 Youth Soccer Schedule

All teams should have 8 scheduled games. I did my best to accommodate the schedule requests for all 74 teams, but if you have a conflict with a game please let me know as far in advance as possible. I will always do everything in my power to avoid forfeits and ensure everyone receives their 8 scheduled games. Please understand you may need to be flexible with your schedule as other teams have schedule restraints too.

League Rules & Age Requirements
I have attached the leagues rules to this email, please review them prior to your first game. The rules can also always be accessed in documents section of the RIverfront Sports app.

Our league follows the USA Soccer age guidelines for our divisions. A copy of that matrix can also be found in the Riverfront Sports app in the documents section. Please take a look the 2025-2026 column to ensure that all your players are eligible to play in the division your team is in.

League Deposit
All teams on the schedule must pay the $300 deposit prior to your first game.

If you have already paid the deposit, a payment of more than $300, or the total $975 no action needs to be taken.

In Exposure you will see your team has two payments - $300 League Deposit & $675 League Fee. For credit card payments please pay the $300 online through Exposure, payments can not be paid through the "Make a Payment" link on the Riverfront website.

If you wish to pay via cash or check please bring it to Riverfront in an envelope that is marked with your team name and division.

The remaining payment of $675 for all teams will be due on December 18th.
