Important Information!

Please check in at least 30 minutes prior to your game. Please complete the following steps prior to check-in.

1. Make sure every player has completed and submitted the player waiver. No payment is required, just hit submit once all the information is filled out. The linkis copied below.

2. Every coach must submit a team roster. One per team. Please fill it out prior to check-in. I will have extra copies on site but keep in mind this may cause a delay in your check-in. I've attached the form to this email.

Both cleats and turf shoes are permitted.

Vendors: Will be located in the parking next to field B.

Le Macaron: Will be selling cold treats, coffee, and pastries. Check them out on IG: lemacronmobilepastries

LatinHotDogs: Will be selling latin style hotdogs. Check them out on IG: Latinhotdogs

Water, Gatorade, Coke products, and snacks will also be available for purchase near the check-in tent.

It's going to be VERY hot! Please make sure you bring enough water, sports drinks, fruits, and snacks. I would also recommend water with electrolytes and ice packs to keep the players cool. Please make sure the players start to properly hydrate the day before.

Please read everything in this email.

The Tournament schedules are now posted for the 5v5 Soccer tournament this weekend. We accommodated all the coach requests that were submitted by the deadline. Please remember DO NOT send screen shots of the schedule to your fans / teams /players / or parents or use them for yourself. Use only the live site, as the schedule is subject to change (screen shots do not update). The best way to see the schedule and follow your team is by downloading our free app 5v5soccer.

If you ordered a tournament t-shirt in the player waiver process, please pick up at the tournament HQ, after your second game (this will allow coaches time to complete their teams check in process). We will have a handful of extra shirts on site for $20, cash or venmo @warrior5v5soccer.

I recommend having all your parents and players downloading our app to follow your team(s) and to receive automatic schedule updates, messages, and all things important about the tournamnet, our app is free on Apple or Android (5v5 Soccer).

Every team will play at least 4 games - Once your Pool play is completed - you will have to go to the button in the app called bracket to see the play off games -once all scores are entered from pool play the names of teams will automatically fill in to the bracket play - and you can see which teams advanced and when and where they play. (This does take some time)- Please don't rush over right after your 3rd game and start asking where you play - we will not immediately know as we have to wait for the updates as well. All other divisions play round robin (this means you play each team in your division 1 time (twice in a 3 pool bracket). You will place 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on based on points (see rules for tie breakers).

1st, 2nd, & 3rd place will receive medals. These teams will qualify for the National Championship in Florida this November 2023. Please visit www.5v5soccer.com for more info.

Make sure all your players have completed the online player waiver https://5v5soccer.com/waiver - (parents get a confirmation email once this is completed - so you can have this sent to you for verification) the online waiver will be checked against the official paper roster turned in 30 mins before your 1st game. If a player has not completed the online waiver but plays in a game or isn't on the official roster but plays - the game is then forfeited and scored 10-0 for the other team (there will be a short (very short) grace period for players to complete the online form onsite - the official roster can not be changed once your 1st game has started. The max roster is 10 players - the 10 players on the roster that is turned in must stay the same for all the games. Please only have 1 person from the team (coach or team manager turn in the official roster to keep the process moving at HQ).

Hello,

I would like to thank you for registering for the 5v5 Soccer Tournament. My name is Andrea Montero and I will be your Tournament Scheduler. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me by e-mail at andrea@5V5soccer.com or text me at 954-465-4012 and I will reply as soon as possible.

If you have specific schedule requests like multiple teams to not conflict, we need those back, via email ONLY, ASAP. All requests must be turned in by Wednesday at 2 PM.

The team list will be posted by tomorrow morning. There are still a few teams registering today so we are giving them the opportunity to register before publishing the team list.

All teams will play a minimum of 4 games. If you are in a 4 team bracket, you will play 3 pool play games and then a final game with 1st v 2nd, and 3rd vs 4th to get medals. A 5 and 6 team bracket will play a round robin tournament, no final. Teams who finish 1st - 3rd place in any bracket will receive medals.

The schedule will be posted on www.5v5soccer.com on Thursday by 5 pm (latest). You can also find it on our free app 5v5Soccer - we encourage all parents and coaches to download it so everyone has access to game times/field location / and any changes or updates that may happen. When creating the schedule, it is sometimes necessary for the tournament director to combine divisions. ****It is a live schedule DO NOT screen shot the schedule as it is subject to change ***** and screen shots will not update.

The tournament will be held at Tequsta Trace Park in Weston, FL. A field map will be sent out by EOD Friday.

Q: Can I add or change a player(s) on my roster?
A: Yes, the roster is not final until the start of your first game. Please bring any roster changes to the team check-in, unless the change affects the division you are in, in which case you must notify me by e-mail. All players must fill out the online waiver form, and be on the paper roster you turn in at check-in.

Q: What is the uniform policy?
A: Players must be in like colors and shin guards are required.
