Hi Everyone! Just a few additional things to share to help you all prepare for our big event.

The tournament will take place at Day Hill Dome. The dome is located at 875 Day Hill Rd, Windsor, CT, 06095.

All games will be played indoors. There is an observation deck above for spectators. No chairs or food are allowed on the fields.

There will be a small concession stand and a food truck on site for your convenience.

T-shirts will be available for purchase at the check-in table. Pre-ordered shirts can be picked up at the check in table throughout the day.

Reminders: Please make sure all parent waivers have been completed ahead of time. Have your proof of age with you. Coaches will check in 30 minutes prior to their first game with their team roster, completed and signed.

Dear Coaches and Teams,

The tournament schedules are now posted for the 5v5 Windsor, CT Soccer tournament this weekend. You can view them at this link:

I apologize for the delay in getting this out to all of you. I wanted to make sure I accommodated everyone's requests the best I could.

Please review the schedule to ensure you are in the correct division and that there are no conflicts with your bracket(s). Schedules are subject to change, so be sure to check back on Friday evening.

Please check in your team at the tournament headquarters tent 30 minutes prior to your first game. Remember to bring any roster changes, as this will be your last opportunity to make changes. Also, make sure to have a photo or copy of proof of age. Only one representative from each team needs to attend the check-in.

You are welcome to email me all the forms for a non-contact check-in. Make sure to send 1 email per team, subject put the team name exactly like they are registered with the division they are playing. Make sure to sign the bottom of the roster form. Although proof of age won’t be examined at check-in, please keep the cards/certificates with you in case of a challenge.

Referees play a vital role in ensuring fair play, and we must treat them with respect. Please remember to:

‣Focus on player development

By following these guidelines, we can create a safe and inclusive atmosphere for everyone involved. This should extend to how we treat all team supporters, coaches, staff members, players on both teams and our officials.

We currently have a few “Open Slots” (2 or 3 team brackets). If you know anyone interested in filling these slots, please have them contact me as soon as possible. We will fill slots on a first-come, first-served basis.

FAQ

Q: Can I add or change a player(s) on my roster?
A: Yes, the roster is not final until the start of your first game. Please bring any roster changes to the team check-in, unless the change affects the division you are in, in which case you must notify me by e-mail. All players must fill out the online waiver form, and be on the paper roster you turn in at check-in.

Q: What is the uniform policy?
A: Players must be in like colors and shin guards are required.

Q: What do I need to bring to the check-in?
A: 1) 5v5 Roster (link above). 2) Verify that all players have filled out the online player waiver (link above)

Q: What if I want to register a co-ed team?
A: We are happy to have co-ed teams. We will create co-ed divisions when we have a sufficient number in any age group. If we do not have enough, they will play in a male division.

Teams will be grouped into divisions based on birth year and skill level. Brackets will be combined by teams +/- 1 year and/or skill level to make the most competitive brackets possible.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:

Game Format
►All teams play a minimum of 4 games.
►Divisions with 3, 5, or 6 teams play round-robin; 1st place is determined by points.
►4-team divisions have 3 pool games and a final playoff.

►Coach / Manager responsibility: *** Print and bring to check-in *** Complete and have a printed Tournament roster ready to turn in at check in. This is your Official Roster.
