5v5 San Antonio FC Schedule

Reminder Every Player attending todays event will recieve a free ticket to the 8/3 game. You can purchase additional discounted tickets at the SA FC table located by 5v5 tournament Headquarters tent (near the restrooms).

We are now on fields 7 & 9 at the Star complex

Coaches / Parents

Make sure to double check the schedule - some teams have had their fields moved - there shouldn't be many if any game time changes.

We are on Field 7 & 8 right in front of the concession stand at the complex but I won't have an actual field map of the 5v5 fields until about 8:30am.

For those of you making a drive in like I am have a safe trip.

game time confusion -

Please come to your game at the time listed on the schedule - ignore (cst) if you find that confusing the system doesn't have a way to follow our crazy time changes - the time list on your game is the time your clock will say and you will need to be at the field

ex 9 am game = 9 am on your clock

Dear Coaches and Teams,

The tournament schedules are now posted for the 5v5 San Antonio, TXSoccer tournament this weekend. You can view them at this link: https://soccer.exposureevents.com/225024/e/schedule

Schedules are subject to change, so be sure to check back on with plenty time to arrive for a 9am game should your schedule change (there should be any changes but it does happen on occantion)

Please check in your team at the tournament headquarters tent 30 minutes prior to your first game. Remember to bring any roster changes, as this will be your last opportunity to make changes. Also, make sure to have a photo or copy of proof of age. Only one representative from each team needs to attend the check-in.

You are welcome to email me all the forms for a non-contact check-in. Make sure to send 1 email per team, subject put the team name exactly like they are registered with the division they are playing. Make sure to sign the bottom of the roster form. Although proof of age won’t be examined at check-in, please keep the cards/certificates with you in case of a challenge.

Registration is open - Accepting teams thru 7 pm tomorrow.

We are now at 37 teams! I have a few in need of a team team. Please reach out to teams / coaches / clubs / players / parents you may know and have them register immediately. They can register without paying - have them reach out to me directly. Let's make sure all teams that want to get to play.

Referees play a vital role in ensuring fair play, and we must treat them with respect. Please remember to:

Encourage positive behavior
Cheer and support without aggression
Communicate with respect
Focus on player development
By following these guidelines, we can create a safe and inclusive atmosphere for everyone involved. This should extend to how we treat all team supporters, coaches, staff members, players on both teams and our officials.

Teams will be grouped into divisions based on birth year and skill level. Brackets will be combined by teams +/- 1 year and/or skill level to make the most competitive brackets possible.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

Game Format

►All teams play a minimum of 4 games.
►Divisions with 3, 5, or 6 teams play round-robin; 1st place is determined by points.
►4-team divisions have 3 pool games and a final playoff.

NATIONALS QUALIFICATION

►Teams placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd qualify for Nationals in Tampa, FL on Nov 30 - Dec 1, 2024.

Player Waiver

►To speed up your check in process ALL PLAYERS must complete the online waiver by Thursday at midnight. Player Waiver: https://5v5soccer.com/waiver/
►No Waiver. No Play. (To verify each player has completed the waiver parents will reciever a confirmation email / if you don't see the confirmation email check your junk mail/ still no confirmation email the system didn't process the waiver please re do the waiver)
