Please share this with your Parents, Coaches, and Players.
Hi Everyone,
I would like to share a soccer book I've written called: "Money Grab $$: A Parents' Guide to American Youth Soccer" It has gotten as high as #3 on Amazon in the Soccer Coaching category.
If you've every wanted a map or guide to know what you will face as a parent new to Recreational Soccer, Competitive, or your player wants to play in college or even become a pro, or adult soccer, this book covers the entire player development lifecycle.
Having lived through the last 50 years of American youth soccer history as a player, Coach, Referee, Professional Goalkeeper in the original Major Indoor Soccer League, College Head Coach, High School Head Coach, Club Coach, and Club President, saw Pele come to play in America and more. Just like today when Messi came to America to everyone's delight! We didn't even have Club Soccer. High School was all there was available!
This book also teaches you all of the FUNdamental skills a player needs to be successful at any age, how to play as a team and what costs are associated with soccer make sense to spend on and those that don't.
Here is the book's link on amazon to copy into your browser:https://www.amazon.com/Money-Grab-Parents-American-Soccer-ebook/dp/B0B9T79LMG/ref=tmm_kin_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&dib_tag=se&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.cC-81Vgh1tXEOzM0RjbiWXiE3-hSyhN2Y5bUJRdVdUT-tZG9s1eITmc2gKK67FUwpfhwVNywdwHFjxDW1Twj_DvpJGoVFZODrArPhwuxwUtzjnzCr8_jQXafI0ObCGDhOVjwL6oMJUUJjO31oyy9kfq8DklMjfH2Ej10LazYHRP4PGJ-e0FUbOpWQ6bzAV25aLYZAGG-pVKgBrTW8GCgrw.gmsrv_o53KfcssVmBjILfarAVJT7L5rK8CfQ6X82hWo&qid=1710632762&sr=8-1

We want to remind everyone of our zero tolerance policy for referee abuse at 5v5 Soccer. As we aim to create a positive and fun tournament, it is crucial that we maintain a supportive sideline environment. While competition is part of the game, let's remember to be respectful and encouraging. Referees play a vital role in ensuring fair play, and we must treat them with respect.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO:
‣ Encourage positive behavior
‣ Cheer and support without aggression
‣ Communicate with respect
‣ Focus on player development
By following these guidelines, we can create a safe and inclusive atmosphere for everyone involved. This should extend to how we treat all team supporters, coaches, staff members, players on both teams and our officials.
A FEW POINTS OF EMPHASIS ON THE 5V5 SOCCER RULES
Touchline (Sideline) Restarts: In place of throw-ins will be kick-ins OR a dribble in with the ball placed stationary on the touchline. A player may not directly kick a ball into the goal from its stationary restart position. A player may dribble the ball into play and after the ball makes a full rotation may then be kicked into the goal. Kick-ins will be treated as indirect kicks until dribbled.
Direct Restarts: A Corner Kick and Kickoff are Direct Kicks. The kick-off may go in any direction.
Goal Kick: Any time a Goal Kick is required, the goalkeeper will execute a Goal Clearance (ball must leave the Penalty Arc). The goalkeeper will start with the ball in their hands and may either (1) Throw or roll the ball, (2) Put the ball down and pass/kick, (3) put the ball down and dribble out of the Penalty Arc.
Once the ball has been put down, the ball is effectively “live”, meaning defending players may enter the penalty arc. The goalkeeper must release the ball within four seconds. Failure to execute the Goal Clearance within 4 seconds will result in an Indirect kick at the top of the arc for the opposition. A goal may not be scored directly from a goal clearance. Once the ball is OUTSIDE the Penalty Arc, a goal may be scored from anywhere on the field. The ball may not be punted or drop-kicked. Infractions will result in an Indirect Kick at the top of the arc for the opposition.

TOURNAMENT REQUIREMENTS
ROSTERS & WAIVERS: NEW PROCESS
With the new process, there is not currently a place to upload a proof of age so we are asking that everyone bring their proof of age with them to the event, as you mentioned. The old process did not allow for coaches to view who had submitted player waivers or proof of age. The new process will allow coaches to view who has completed the player waivers and who hasn't. It will also allow the coaches (or event directors) to resend the request to parents.
Please be sure all of your players are added to your roster through Exposure, if you haven't done so already. By adding a player the parent will automatically be sent the email for the waiver. Please note, the new process will not allow for coaches to view any submissions that were done using the old process.

Hi everyone,
Every player needs to have a waiver form signed by a parent to play in Apopka on Sunday.
For those of you who entered their players into their roster and the parent's email, the system will have sent an email with the waiver to the parent to complete.
The person(s) who registered the team can see on their roster which parents have completed the waiver and those who have not. If the was completed, the waiver column will be filled in black. If not, it will be gray.
For those parents who have, thank you.
For those parents who have not yet completed a waiver, you can resend the waiver to them by:
1. Selecting the check box on the left-most side of the screen for the players with gray, not black
2. Click the blue Actions box
3. Click Send with the right arrow
4. Click Sign Waiver
The system will send out a new waiver email to the parent for them to sign.
iI you put the same email in for every player, it will not work. You need a unique email address for each player.
Should you have any questions, please text or call me on 813.335.2736.
Thank you!
Neal
