General Information
Registration Deadline: Oct 1, 2026 (or until all spots are filled)
Minimum Deposit: A $500 deposit (includes tax) is required to secure your team's spot. This deposit is strictly non-refundable upon payment.

League Start Date: Oct 24, 2026 (Note: This is the official start date of the league as a whole; your team’s first scheduled match may occur later).

Refund Eligibility
Requests Submitted ON OR BEFORE Oct 17, 2026: Teams are eligible to receive a refund for any amounts paid to-date, minus the initial $500 non-refundable deposit, and minus the non-refundable Stripe credit card processing fee (if payment was made via credit card). The processing fee covers non-refundable administrative costs charged by Stripe.
Requests Submitted AFTER Oct 17, 2026: No refunds will be issued for any reason. Strictly no exceptions will be made once this deadline passes, as league brackets, schedules, and facilities will already be locked in.
How to Request a Refund: To initiate a refund, please send a written request via email to admin@gameawareness.ca. You must include your:

Approved refunds will be issued via Interac e-Transfer sent directly to your email address. Please allow 5 business days from the date of approval for the e-transfer to be generated and delivered.
Locations:
Matches will be played at premium facilities located in Mississauga, Milton, Etobicoke, Vaughan, and North York. Games will be on Saturdays or Sundays (1 game per week). Note: To support growing programs across the region, we’re expanding match locations. IF we have enough teams looking to play in our league from outside our core geographic locations — such as Kitchener-Waterloo, Bradford, or Downtown Toronto, we can host select home games for those teams against teams in the same/local geographic location.

All matches are scheduled to take place indoors and will proceed as planned regardless of outside weather conditions (rain, snow, cold, etc.).

🔒 Incident Video Policy
We strictly enforce rules around conduct to prevent incidents before they occur.
Any videos or photos taken during the league are the responsibility of the individuals who capture them.
We do not condone or authorize the use of video content by media outlets or social media to spread negative narratives or sensationalize isolated incidents.
Our organization reserves the right to investigate any footage and take disciplinary or legal action if needed.
We are not liable for third-party sharing of video content, but we will protect our brand and community against misuse.

🚫 Alcohol & Substance Use
Absolutely no alcohol is permitted at league venues — this includes sidelines, stands, parking lots, and surrounding areas.
Spectators or coaches found drinking or under the influence will be removed immediately.
Violators may receive suspensions or permanent bans from all future events.
This policy is enforced strictly, with zero exceptions.

👨👩👧 Parent & Spectator Expectations
Respect referees, staff, coaches, and players at all times — on and off the field.
Any form of verbal abuse, physical altercations, threats, or intimidation will result in:
Immediate removal from the venue
Suspension or permanent bans
Possible police involvement in serious cases
Spectators are expected to set a positive example for youth athletes.

🧑🏫 Coach Responsibilities
Coaches are leaders and role models. Poor behavior will not be tolerated.
Any coach involved in:
Fighting
Verbal abuse
Encouraging violence or confrontation
Consuming alcohol will face immediate disciplinary action, including suspension or a lifetime ban.
Coaches are expected to help calm tensions, not escalate them.

⚖️ Disciplinary Action: Suspensions & Bans
Misconduct may result in:
1-event suspension
Season-long ban
Lifetime ban (for severe or repeat offenses)
Decisions are made by league officials and are final.
Appeals must be submitted in writing and will be reviewed case-by-case, but reinstatement is not guaranteed.
