I have tried to accomodate ALL of the requests, especially those driving from far away places. : )

To see where and when you are playing, please download the 5v5 Soccer app from your App Store, then go to February 17, 2024 5v5 Davenport, FL and then click Schedule, the middle icon. You can then select Divisions or Teams on the bottom to see your schedule.

REMINDERS:

1. Have FUN!!

2. Every player's parent will need to fill out an online waiver form:

3. Every team will need to have a printed 5v5 Soccer Team Roster that the player's parents will sign:

4. Please bring one completed Team Waiver to Check-In at least 30 minutes before your FIRST GAME on Saturday or email or text a picture of them to neal@5v5soccer.com. Only one person needs to bring the forms early to check-in.

5. Please review the rules of the format you are playing as 5v5 has some unique differences to them from full-sided soccer. Please go to 5v5soccer.com/documents then forward the appropriate 5v5 rules to your players and parents so everyone knows how to play this excitingly, fast game.

With all of Saturday traffic in the area, please allow yourself enough time to be at your field 30 minutes before your first game and 10 minutes before the rest of your games to ensure they start and end on time and we stay on schedule.

Here are some filming tips:

-Keep a steady grip on your phone, utilizing stabilizers or tripods if available.
-Film in a vertical orientation.
-If possible, use an external microphone and position it as close to the source as possible.
-Maintain eye contact with the screen/camera.
-If possible, conduct interviews near a 5v5 Soccer banner or on the field.

All divisions are accepting teams as space allows. When creating the schedule, it is sometimes necessary to combine divisions.

All teams will play a minimum of 4 games. If you are in a 4-team division, you will play 3 pool play games and then a final game with 1st v 2nd, and 3rd vs 4th to get medals. To see playoff games you will need to click out of the pool play schedule and click on the brackets button to see all playoff games. Once all pool play games are scored the names of the teams advancing will fill in. Divisions with 3, 5, 6 will play round robin and place will be determined on points. See rules for tie breakers. 3 team divisions play round robin where each team plays each other 2x. (I am working to fill a 4th spot in any 3 team division). Teams who finish 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in any division will receive medals. Any team placing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd will qualify for Nationals held in Palm Beach Florida this November 2024.

Parent responsibility:*****This must be completed before 2/15 at midnight*******Each player will need an online waiver form completed by their parent. You can locate the Player Waiver in your registration confirmation email or at https://5v5soccer.com/waiver/

Please complete one per player online (if you select all the tournaments you won’t have to fill out another one this year) You do not have to purchase a shirt or player pass you can scroll pass this and just hit submit.

Q: Can I add or change a player(s) on my roster?
A: Yes, the roster is not final until the start of your first game. Please bring any roster changes to the team check-in, unless the change affects the division you are in, in which case you must notify me by e-mail. All players must fill out the online waiver form, and be on the paper roster you turn in at check-in.

Q: What is the uniform policy?
A: Players must be in like colors and shin guards are required.

Q: What do I need to bring to the check-in?

A: 1) 5v5 Roster (link above). 2) Verify that all players have filled out the online player waiver (link above) parents will receive an email verification once they have completed this step that they can send to you

There are still a few teams registering today and tomorrow so we are giving them the opportunity to register before publishing the team list.
