12pm games are currently in delay. Looking at 1215 to 1230 to resume unless weather protocol deem otherwise.
6/29/2024 1:08 PM
Attached is the location of the fields where we will be playing. The stars are the two fields (1 and 2) and stars with circle around them are the entrances to both fields.
Hoover Met Complex rules/regulations that must be followed:
Cashless facility - HMC only accepts credit/debit payments
No seeds or gum
No metal spikes on turf fields
No tents attached to the baseball/ softball fence
No stretch bands or weighted balls attached to the fence
No soft toss into the fence
No gas
Electric heaters cannot be within 20ft of the turf fields
No firearms
Tents CANNOT be staked down on multipurpose or baseball fields
Weather protocols:
We must clear the fields when lightning is within 8 miles. A siren on the complex will go off 5 times. We must clear fields and everyone go to their cars for safety if lightning does occur. We can resume play when lightning is no longer in the 8 miles radius for 30 minutes. We have a complex hardware that lets us know a time, etc when we can resume play. The timer restarts with each lightning strike with 8 miles as well. Another siren will go off when the fields are all clear to resume activity.
We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns.
Best regards,
Eddie Hamilton

Dear Parents and Coaches,
We want to remind everyone of our zero-tolerance policy for referee abuse at 5v5 Soccer. As we aim to create a positive and fun tournament, it is crucial that we maintain a supportive sideline environment. While competition is part of the game, let's remember to be respectful and encouraging.
Referees play a vital role in ensuring fair play, and we must treat them with respect. Please remember to:
Encourage positive behavior
Cheer and support without aggression
Communicate with respect
Focus on player development
By following these guidelines, we can create a safe and inclusive atmosphere for everyone involved. This should extend to how we treat all team supporters, coaches, staff members, players on both teams and our officials.
Thank you for making 5v5 Soccer a great experience. Let's celebrate the joy of the game and promote sportsmanship together!
Best regards,
