The 5v5 Soccer National Championship is open to teams who finish in the top 3 at any local event or are ranked in the Top 32 of their division nationally.

General Information

REGISTRATION
• Registration for the 2026 National Championship will be based on the qualification in our 2025-2026 season where teams competed based on Birth Year registration. Teams will qualify, register, and be bracketed into divisions based on the Birth Year of the oldest player.
• Register now, pay by 10/31. Anyone (coaches or parents) can register the team. Please select your teams birth year (based on oldest player) from the list below and create a “coaches account”.

• Register now and add your players later. Must roster 50% of the original qualifying team roster.
Multi-team discounts do not apply towards Nationals.

DEADLINES AND PRICING
• Summer Special Pricing: $300 Now through Aug 15th
• Early Registration: $500 Aug 16th - Aug 30th
• Regular Registration: $550 Sept 1st - 30th
• Late Registration: $600 Oct 1st - Oct 31
Starting Nov 1 teams will be accepted on an as needed basis only.

REQUIREMENTS
• All rosters & player waivers must be completed online through Exposure.  Must be completed by 10/31.  For more information, visit our Roster & Waiver pages.  

Players will need proof of age in the form of player cards, birth certificates, team rosters, passports, or school IDs.

• Trophies will be awarded for 1st Place, Plaques will be awarded for 2nd Place, and large medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

TOURNAMENT & GAME FORMAT
• Roster: Max of 10
• Ball Size: We will play with the same ball size you use in the regular season unless playing “up”
• Goals: 6x12 feet Bownet goals (facility dependent)
• Field Size: 30 yards wide by 40 yards long (facility dependent)
• 4-game guarantee
• Format: 4+GK
• 5v5 Open to all qualified teams 2018 birth year through Adults.
• Teams will play in age divisions based on their oldest player. 
• This is a non-sanctioned event so it's open to all qualified teams from all States.

HOW WILL MY BRACKET BE PLAYED WITH X TEAMS?
• Group games will be split evenly between Saturday and Sunday, with Playoff/Knockout Round and Championship games happening after group play. 
• 3 Teams - Play Each Team Twice
• 4 Teams - 3 Pool Play games, Championship and 3rd place game
• 5 Teams - 4 Pool Play games, 1st-3rd awarded based on points
• 6 Teams -  5 Pool Play games, 1st-3rd awarded based on points
• 7 Teams - 4 Random Pool Play games, seeded for Championship and 3rd Place game
• 8 Teams - Two pools of 4, Three Pool Play games, Semi Finals 1 v 2 opposite pool, Championship and 3rd Place game. Consolation games 3Av3B and 4Av4B for the Fourth game.
• 9 Teams - Two pools of 4-5, teams will play all teams in their pool to be seeded for advancement. Teams finishing 1st and 2nd will reach the Semi Final; teams finishing 3rd and 4th will play an extra match as a consolation match; the team finishing 5th in their pool will have finished their four game garauntee. Semi finals, teams 1 v 2 opposite pool, winners will play in a Championship game and losers will face off for the 3rd Place match. Teams finishing 3rd and 4th will play a Consolation game 3Av3B and 4Av4B for the Fourth game. The team finishing 5th in their pool will not have any more games.
• 10 Teams - Two pools of 5, teams will play all teams in their pool to be seeded for advancement. Teams finishing 1st and 2nd will reach the Semi Final; teams finishing 3rd and 4th will play an extra match as a consolation match; the team finishing 5th in their pool will have finished their four game garauntee. Semi finals, teams 1 v 2 opposite pool, winners will play in a Championship game and losers will face off for the 3rd Place match. Teams finishing 3rd and 4th will play a Consolation game 3Av3B and 4Av4B for the Fourth game. The team finishing 5th in their pool will not have any more games.
• 11 Teams - Two pools of 5-6, teams will play all teams in their pool to be seeded for advancement. Teams finishing 1st and 2nd will reach the Semi Final; teams finishing 3rd and 4th will play an extra match as a consolation match; the team finishing 5th in their pool will have finished their four game garauntee. Semi finals, teams 1 v 2 opposite pool, winners will play in a Championship game and losers will face off for the 3rd Place match. Teams finishing 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th in their pool will not have any more games having met the four game garauntee.
• 12 Teams - Three pools of 4, teams will play all teams in their pool to be seeded for advancement. Teams finishing 1st and 2nd will reach the Quarter Final, along with the top two 3rd place teams based on seeding. Teams finishing 3rd and 4th (but not advancing to Quarter Finals) will play an extra match as a consolation match. Losers of the Quarter Final are eliminated from the tournament, and winners will advance to the Semi finals, teams 1 v 2 opposite pool, winners will play in a Championship game and losers will face off for the 3rd Place match. 
• 13-15 Teams - Three pools of 4-5, teams will play all teams in their pool to be seeded for advancement. Teams finishing 1st and 2nd will reach the Quarter Final, along with the top two 3rd place teams based on seeding. Teams finishing 3rd, 4th, or 5th (but not advancing to Quarter Finals) will play an extra match as a consolation match if four game garauntee has not been met. Losers of the Quarter Final are eliminated from the tournament, and winners will advance to the Semi finals, teams 1 v 2 opposite pool, winners will play in a Championship game and losers will face off for the 3rd Place match. 
• 16-20 Teams - Four pools of 4-5, teams will play all teams in their pool to be seeded for advancement. Teams finishing 1st and 2nd will reach the Quarter Final, along with the top two 3rd place teams based on seeding. Teams finishing 3rd, 4th, or 5th (but not advancing to Quarter Finals) will play an extra match as a consolation match if four game garauntee has not been met. Losers of the Quarter Final are eliminated from the tournament, and winners will advance to the Semi finals, teams 1 v 2 opposite pool, winners will play in a Championship game and losers will face off for the 3rd Place match.
